Comparative analysis of Elizabethan Writers

Introduction:In the English literature we can say that William Shakespeare, Geoffrey Chaucer and Edmund Spenser are three titans of Elizabethan age.Each contributing uniquely to it's evolution.Let discuss about it in detail ; 
1. William Shakespeare: 
 (1564-1616)
William Shakespeare was born in United Kingdom.He is well known play writer ,Dramatist and Sonnet writer also.
His Works:
Famous Tragedies of Shakespeare are:
'Hamlet', 'Othello ',' King Lear', ' Macbeth '. 
Historical plays : 
'Henry V',' Richard III'.
He wrote 154 Sonnet.
His Style:
 Hello was mastered in tragedy, comedy, history and romance.The rhyme scheme of Shakespeare is 
ABABCDCDEFEFGG. 
Impact:
 He revolutionized English drama with his deep psychological insight and complex characterization.
2. Edmund Spenser:
(1552-1599)
Edmund Spenser was born in United Kingdom. He is well known poet of the Elizabethan age.
His Works:
Notable works of Spenser are:
'The Faerie Queen', 'The Shepherds Calendar ', 'Amoretti', 'Epithalamion'
' The Faerie Queen' is an epic poem celebrating Queen Elizabeth I and embodying the virtues of chivalry.
His Style:
Edmund Spenser is famous for spenserian stanza. A nine line stanza with the rhyme scheme ABABBCBCC which he invented for ' The Faerie Queen'. His poetries are rich in allegory, mythological, historical and contemporary elements. He is known for vivid imagery and moralistic themes.
Impact:
Spenser is considered one of the greatest poet of Renaissance period.His works reflect the Elizabethan era's cultural and political ideas, particularly the glorification of Queen Elizabeth I and the virtues she represented.

Geoffrey Chaucer:
(1343-1400)




Geoffrey Chaucer was well known English poet, Auther and Civil servant.
His Works:
His well known work is ' The Canterbury Tales' It is collection of stories told by pilgrims travelling to Canterbury. Another notable works are 'The Book of Duchess ', 'House of Fame', 'Troilus and Criseyde'.
His Style:
Chaucer employed a range of poetic forms including rhyme couplets and stanzas. He is known for his vivid characterization and use of irony and humour.
Impact:
Chaucer called the 'Father of English literature ' for his significant role in legimizing English as literary language.His characters are depict from different class and society.
Conclusion:  To conclude we can say that William Shakespeare, Edmund Spenser, Geoffrey Chaucer are different writer and well known writer of Renaissance.
